You know that feeling you get when the other person in the conversation is checked out? You start noticing that their eyes are glazing over a bit. Or their replies are rumbling around in the realm of ‘huh’, ‘oh, ok’, and ‘yeah’.
I hate that feeling, and it’s one that I get about emails a lot. Maybe I subscribe to too many emails - (me? going overboard on something? how dare you!) But maybe you do too!
So how can we combat this ‘checked out’ feeling? Turn off our smartphone notifications, write to don’t lists…or, in the case of this newsletter and me and you: do a quick pulse check.

Yes, this makes no sense as a metaphor, I need a second cup of coffee.
I don’t know how I missed this! For what it’s worth, I love anything art related and I love your beekeeping tips and updates and small garden rewilding. The idea of a zine for subscribers sounds fun too. X
